Change video speed
Make a video faster or slower. The audio is time-stretched rather than pitch-shifted, so a sped-up voice still sounds like a person talking quickly instead of a chipmunk.
Your video never leaves your device. There is no upload, no queue and no server copy. Free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no export limit.
What you can do
0.25× to 4×
Presets for the usual speeds plus anything in between.
Audio stays in tune
Speed changes are applied to the audio with a time-stretch that preserves pitch, not by playing the samples faster.
Per clip
Speed up the boring middle and leave the ends alone — split the clip and set each part separately.
Preview at the real speed
The preview plays at the speed you set, so you can hear whether it works before exporting.

Questions
Does speeding up a video make the audio sound wrong?
Not here. The audio is time-stretched, which changes the tempo while keeping the pitch, so voices stay recognisable. Playing the samples faster — what a naive implementation does — is what causes the chipmunk effect.
Can I make a slow-motion video?
You can slow the playback to 0.25×. Whether it looks smooth depends on the source: footage shot at 30 fps has only 30 real frames per second to stretch, so it will judder. Footage shot at 120 fps slows beautifully.
Can I change the speed of just part of the video?
Yes. Split the clip where you want the change and set a different speed on each part.
Does changing the speed change the file size?
Speeding up shortens the video, so the file gets smaller. Slowing it down makes it longer and larger.
What is the maximum speed?
4× from the presets, and you can type any value between 0.1× and 8×.
