Cut and trim video online
Cut a video down to the part you actually want. Drag the ends in, or split at the playhead and delete what you do not need. A plain cut is exported without re-encoding, so it is lossless and takes about a second.
Your video never leaves your device. There is no upload, no queue and no server copy. Free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no export limit.
What you can do
Lossless cutting
When all you have done is trim, the export copies the original streams instead of re-encoding them. The result is bit-for-bit the same quality and almost instant.
Split anywhere
Put the playhead where you want the cut and press S. Delete either half, or keep both and reorder them.
Frame-accurate handles
Nudge a trim point one frame at a time with the arrow keys, or type an exact timestamp.
Remove the middle
Split twice and delete the section between. The remaining clips close up automatically.

Questions
Does cutting reduce the quality?
Not if cutting is all you do. The export copies the original video and audio streams untouched, so there is no second generation of compression. Adding text, filters or a resize forces a re-encode.
Why does my cut start slightly before where I set it?
A lossless cut can only begin at a keyframe, and those are typically one or two seconds apart. If you need the cut exactly on the frame, choose any quality other than "Same as source" and it will be re-encoded to land precisely.
How do I cut a section out of the middle?
Split at the start of the unwanted section, split again at its end, then select the middle clip and delete it. The clips either side join up.
Is there a limit on how long a video I can cut?
Three minutes, 1080p and 300 MB. Cutting itself is cheap, but the file has to fit in the browser tab’s memory.
Can I cut a video on my phone?
Yes. The timeline supports touch — drag a clip’s edge to trim it and tap Split to cut at the playhead.
