What video sizes do social platforms use?
Almost all vertical video is 1080 × 1920 — Reels, TikTok, Shorts and Stories all share it. Square is 1080 × 1080, Instagram’s taller feed post is 1080 × 1350, and landscape is 1920 × 1080 for YouTube and LinkedIn or 1280 × 720 for Facebook and X.
Can I use one video everywhere?
A 9:16 vertical export is accepted by every platform, but it will be letterboxed on YouTube and look cramped on LinkedIn. Exporting a vertical and a landscape version covers almost everything properly.
How do I make a landscape video work as a Reel?
Set the canvas to 1080 × 1920 and choose "Blurred background". The whole picture stays visible in the middle and the space above and below is filled with a blurred copy of it.
Will the platforms compress my video again?
Yes, all of them do. Export at the highest quality you reasonably can so their compression starts from a good source.
Is there a watermark?
No, on any export.
