Questions
How do I add text to a video for free?
Drag your video onto this page, open the Text panel and press Add text. Type your words, style them, and drag the layer on the timeline to set when they appear. Nothing is added to the export.
Can I add more than one piece of text?
Yes, as many as you like. Each is its own layer with its own timing, so titles, captions and credits can overlap or follow each other.
Why is my white text hard to read?
Because the frame behind it is bright. Add a dark outline of two or three pixels, or turn on the background block — both are in the Colour section.
Can I animate the text?
Yes. Each layer has an in and out animation — fade, slide, zoom, pop, bounce or typewriter — with a duration you set.
Will there be a watermark on my export?
No. The only watermark on your video is one you add yourself.
